Now this was a very interesting short story. I like the way Raymond Carver left some of this story for you to predict your own outcome of the situations in this story. I mean, when Bill was going over to the apartment he could have been rummaging through their belongings, taking their medications, anything but you could actually let your mind go to work and fulfill the outcome of what the characters in this story were really up to.
It was quite funny, wasn't it. I believe that this was meant to be a more comical story and that the Millers' were lacking something major from their life. Sure it can be fun to snoop in other people's belonging on occasion, they were just about ready to take over the Stones' home and were devastated to learn of them being locked out of it!
